How should I clean my hardwood floors?

Cleaning For Your Exotic Hardwood

Not all flooring is the same. Both domestic and exotic hardwood flooring need special cleaning care:

1. Never clean with solutions meant for vinyl or tile floors. The residue of the cleanser can remain on your exotic hardwood flooring and leave it dull.

2. Do not use a wet mop on a hardwood floor. The water can discolor and even warp the wood.

3. Any spills should be wiped immediately with a damp towel.

4. Do not wax your hardwood floor unless the manufacturer of the hardwood flooring recommends this type of maintenance.
